Before you read this please understand this is purely speculation and theoretical. I am trying to put together what may have happened and just like you I want to see Libby come home safe and well.
When I heard a witness come forward and say she sat up in bed when she heard a woman scream, I knew Police were dealing with an abduction. The witness said she regularly heard students go by her house shouting and ranting but this sounded different. It has been mentioned in many news outlets that Libby did return home to her digs and then left again and was seen nearby sitting on a bench. It seems a bit strange that she left her phone at home. Did she go and meet someone that she was expecting at the bench or was she so drunk she was unaware what she was doing.
She does appear to have then come back to her house where the neighbour heard the scream. The witness said she heard mumbling voices and then a loud bang of a gate. This may indicate that she was either bundled against her will into a nearby property or in to a van or vehicle. And mumbling voices indicates more than one possible perpetrator.
If this is the case then I really hope the Police alert the public that we could have a person or persons on the prowl who could pose a serious danger to the public. They have searched lakes and canals and still no sign of Libby.
I am sure close friends, boyfriends, Ex boyfriends will all be interviewed and alibis are considered.
I hope I am wrong and that she turns safe and well but as every day passes, we have to consider my conclusions.
