I would firstly like to start by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. In recent years it has been quite a challenge sourcing Merry Christmas Cards. For a while I was naive in not really understanding why ''Seasons Greetings'' was the most popular in card shops and why I couldn't get my hands on Happy Christmas cards and then it struck me, It's offensive to people of non Christian faith. Yes, we have become a nation and a Europe of political correctness and over the top pandering to people who we welcome here with open arms. We don't enforce our beliefs, our culture, our customs and our beautiful way of life but yet accept there extreme customs. We have become a very tolerant society and compliant with whatever governments expect of us.
In many other societies I am expected to follow custom, to respect the laws and the culture and I do so and I expect the same when someone visits my homeland. In the late noughties I visited the United Arab Emirates and stayed beside the Burj Al Arab hotel ( not in my budget). I remember taking a sip of cool water in the 41 degree heat and being touched on the arm by a local stranger who insisted I put my bottle of water away and to stop insulting his culture. Yes this did actually happen during Ramadan and yes I put the water away. But after the incident I thought hang on here, I am a tourist, I was not aware of Ramadan and isn't it a little over the top to request that I stop drinking water in dead heat at 12pm in a Dubai afternoon?
Recently at the entrance to a bank in Dublin City Centre I witnessed a courier being asked to remove his helmet to enter the bank which is common practice here. Then momentarily I also saw a woman in a Burka with two slits in the eyes walking past the same security man with no bother getting in. For me this is nonsense and totally unaceptable. They both have there faces covered and should be both asked to remove there face covers. It is situations like this that really get under the skin of some people. Europe has been spiralling out of control for sometime now. Merkel with her open border policies. 1 Million migrants being let in to Germany, Sweden losing its grip on the migrant crisis there and immigration at the top of most peoples concerns. Approximately 960,000 thousand migrants coming from war torn Syria entered Germany over the last year. 33,000 have sought employment and the others are on benefit. The recent terrorist attack in Berlin where a fanatical Jihad stole a truck and killed its driver and then drove the truck into a crowd of people was from Tunisia. The last time I checked, Tunisia was not at war. This attacker was let roam freely around Europe with a gun and it took German authorities 4 days to find him in ...wait for it......Italy.
I have become very interested in this failed EU project of flooding Europe with low paid migrants, carrying on like terrorism is the new norm. You hear the term ''Foiled plot'' mentioned in the mainstream media. You will be called ''Xenophobic'' or ''Racist'' if you have a passion to help Europe from falling into the wrong hands. These Jihadists want Europe more than us at present and whoever wants it most will win. This is a war and unless you get your head out of the sand and do something to help Europe survive, whether it be talking passionately with your friends and family, tweeting or facebook and show some back bone of why they should be worried, then we will lose to those lunatics and they will come here with the caliphate.
Merkel has to go now, as we need real leadership. Obama, Cameron and Merkel have been 3 of the weakest leaders I can certainly remember in my lifetime and although I go about my own business, working to pay the mortgage and having a pleasant life, I am worried about where we are all going in this doomed EU project. It has been so encouraging to see online other passionate and concerned individuals thinking about how to survive the onslaught of these weak leaders and Islamic State and there medieval butchery.
Trump, Farage & Le Pen will all help to defeat the terrorists, tighten borders and force Arab states to take in refugees because to this day they have not taken in many and possibly none. They have sent aid but that is not enough. Why should we have to be burdened with millions of migrants. I am all for helping genuine war survivors and the Aleppo scenes are dreadful but Arab states should be taking in more. Who and why did someone in power give these orders? But some leftist Europeans are tolerant, compliant with whatever happens, instead of asking why?
We must fight to save our Europe, We had the Franco Prussian war, WW1 & WW2 and if we don't do something soon we will be in a bigger mess than now and who knows what we may face. DO SOMETHING!
